Snow Season

The best part of living in California is, we have almost everything here. You want to go the beach, the coast is near by. You want to go fishing at the lake, the mountains are not far. You want to go to Vegas, it's only 4 hours away. You want to go snowboarding or skiing, Mammoth, Big Bear, Mt. High, aren't far.

My family and I love going to the mountains during snow season. We go tubbing, snowboarding, sledding, while making snowmen and snow angels. Even though we complain about it being cold, all we have to do is come the mountain, and it's 65-70 degrees at home. It's great! Who could ask for better?

Happy Birthday to You...

What does a three year old like to do on their birthday? PLAY at the PARK!
So for our daughter's birthday party, we went to a nice small park in Cypress with most of our family and had a ball. Lots of family came out, nieces, nephews, family friends, grandmas, my two sister-in-laws, and cousins, even though it was chilly outside, and we had a good time.

Cali, (the birthday girl) was everywhere, playing with everybody, making her rounds with all her guest>>> sounds just like her mother!

My mom wasn't feeling well the whole week prior, but was able to pull enough strength together to make it out that day; she always comes through, thanks Mom!
At the park there was this crazy spinning seat, and even though your not going (what looks like)very fast, you definitely feel like that thing is spinning you faster then a merry-go-round (for ya'll older people who remember what that is).
I captured 3 good photos as an example from my sister-in-law Selina, of what happens after that. All the kids loved it and hated it at the same time. It's like one of those things you can't get enough of; it was funny to watch!

All in all it was a good day with everyone. Thank you all for coming out to party with Cali.

Happy Birthday MooMoo!

Spooky Theatre

After class Professor Bumatay took us out to practice different lighting and composition, and we ended up in the theatre department messing around. He's very helpful, patient, and so freakin' creative, it's ridiculous...and I mean that in a good way! Some of these shots are behind the scenes of the theatre. Before we left, we set our timers and took a group shot making our spooky faces. It was fun, sneaky, and I learned a lot! Thank you Greg!
